About the Role


  • Implement personalized 1:1 or 1:2 in-home and community activities, promoting independence and personal growth. Conduct sessions designed to deliver stimulation, joy, and emotional support.

  • Manage participants' medical and personal care needs, including assistance with bathroom use, changing of adult diapers, and assistance with feeding while collaborating with family members or support staff.

  • Foster a positive environment, encouraging active participation in various activities utilizing effective prompting and cueing.

  • Maintain detailed progress notes on participant goals, ensuring individualized care.

  • Develop and implement behavior management plans when required.

  • Complete records and reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Serve as an advocate and positive role model for the individuals you support.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Valid CA driver's license.

  • Good driving record.

  • At least 1 year of previous caregiving experience
