About the Role
Implement personalized 1:1 or 1:2 in-home and community activities, promoting independence and personal growth. Conduct sessions designed to deliver stimulation, joy, and emotional support.
Manage participants' medical and personal care needs, including assistance with bathroom use, changing of adult diapers, and assistance with feeding while collaborating with family members or support staff.
Foster a positive environment, encouraging active participation in various activities utilizing effective prompting and cueing.
Maintain detailed progress notes on participant goals, ensuring individualized care.
Develop and implement behavior management plans when required.
Complete records and reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Serve as an advocate and positive role model for the individuals you support.
Requirements
Must Have:
Valid CA driver's license.
Good driving record.
At least 1 year of previous caregiving experience
